Weather update : The low-pressure area now lies over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Bangladesh, West Bengal. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 5.8 Km. above mean sea level tilting Southwest wards with height.

It is likely to move in North Northwest direction during the next 2 days and become a well-marked low-pressure area over Bangladesh and adjoining gangetic West Bengal. Thereafter it is likely to move in West Northwest direction across Gangetic West Bengal Jharkhand and adjoining areas during subsequent 3 days.

The monsoon trough at mean Sea level now passes through Bikaner, Sikar, Gwalior, Churu and the centre of a low-pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal.

Cyclonic circulation is over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas between 1.5 and 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height.
A cyclonic circulation is over South interior Karnataka.
